What is GameSense?
GameSense is our AI camera tracking system. Using the cameras in your escape rooms, we can track where players are in the game. The cameras will autocomplete objectives as players progress through the room, which allows game masters to know exactly what puzzle they’re working on and what hint they need. GameSense ensures that game masters always know where players are at in the game. This helps to reduce hint response times and makes sure hints are accurate to what players are doing in the room. It also helps lessen the load a game has on a GM, so they can watch more games without sacrificing player experience, or hint response time and accuracy. To see GameSense in action, explore the videos under the GameSense tab. Here’s a Lost City that uses GameSense! To see other games, simply search the game name and it will appear.
How do I get started with GameSense?
To get GameSense for your rooms, we will need to do a video call with someone in your venue. We will have them walk us through each puzzle in all of the games you’d like to have automated and evaluate camera placement, objective configuration, and puzzle compatibility with camera detections. During this call we will assess the use of the PLC to close objectives and recommend how to get the most out of your PLC. We will then work up a list of modifications that may involve lighting changes, camera installation/movement, small puzzle adjustments, and restructuring objectives to be more specific. A call can be scheduled here.
How much does GameSense cost?
Initial training fees for GameSense are between $250-$500 per game depending on the amount of detections needed and their complexity. This is due at the start of camera training, after the discovery call and mods are completed. After the camera detections are deployed to your venue, there is a monthly maintenance fee of $40 per game to cover any additional training that may need to occur. We also have an option that allows you to train your own camera detections for $20/month per game. See more on that below.
GameSense Feedback
Once GameSense is deployed, Game Masters will have the option to give feedback on if the detection worked as expected. Once the objective is closed, and then the following 2 objectives are closed, the feedback script will appear. Detections can be given a thumbs up or a thumbs down. Clicking thumbs down opens a small menu where GM’s can select details about what happened or leave a note. Feedback is reviewed by our team and adjustments are made as needed.

Self-Service GameSense
As of October 2025, we have rolled out our first version of self-service camera training. This rollout includes loss prevention (counting players in games), info on training your own cameras for puzzle completions, and customer lobby wait times. Creating and testing detections is free! Once they’re turned on and being used in games, there is a monthly fee of $20/game.
